Petroseal Compounds Nuc 40

NUC 40

Developed for the unique requirements of nuclear maintenance operations, NUC40 delivers safe, compliant and long-lasting sealing performance in water, air and steam systems. Its formulation was specifically designed to meet the PMUC (Produits et Matériaux Utilisables en Centrale nucléaire) standards, ensuring strict control of halogen and sulfur content to prevent any risk of corrosion or contamination in stainless steel installations.

Each production batch of NUC40 undergoes systematic laboratory testing and certification to verify compliance with the minimum halogen thresholds defined for nuclear applications. This rigorous quality process guarantees total traceability and consistent performance, allowing operators to work with confidence in highly regulated environments.

By combining proven sealing efficiency with the highest level of material compliance, NUC40 provides a reliable and durable solution for critical systems where safety and quality cannot be compromised. Its mechanical stability make it the trusted choice for maintaining the integrity of nuclear circuits exposed to pressure, temperature and demanding operating conditions.

NUC 40S

Building on the proven reliability of NUC40, NUC40S offers improved mechanical performance through a reinforced particle structure inspired by our high-strength industrial compounds. This adjusted granularity provides greater body and stability, making it particularly effective when dealing with surface irregularities or imperfect geometries within nuclear water, air and steam circuits.

As with NUC40, the NUC40S formulation complies fully with PMUC (Produits et Matériaux Utilisables en Centrale nucléaire) standards. Its controlled halogen and sulfur content prevents any risk of corrosion or contamination to sensitive stainless steel components. Each production batch is individually laboratory tested to ensure that halogen levels remain within the strict limits required for nuclear use, guaranteeing total traceability and long-term operational safety.

Petroseal Compounds Nuc 42

NUC 42

Designed as the complementary compound to NUC40 and NUC40S, NUC42 is the dedicated re-injection sealant for maintenance operations within nuclear facilities. Its formulation allows operators to restore or reinforce existing leak sealing applications without compromising the chemical compatibility or mechanical integrity of the initial compound.

NUC42 remains fully compliant with PMUC (Produits et Matériaux Utilisables en Centrale nucléaire) standards. Its carefully controlled halogen and sulfur content prevents any risk of corrosion or contamination to stainless steel and alloy components used in nuclear water, air and steam circuits. Each batch is systematically tested and certified, ensuring conformity with the strictest halogen thresholds defined for nuclear use.

NUC 46

NUC 46 is an orange, flexible sealing paste designed to perform well in saturated steam or water conditions. It provides reliable resistance to thermal variations and is recommended for nuclear circuits operating between −160°C and 300°C, with pressures up to 120 bar.

NUC 46S

Designed as the structured complement to NUC46, NUC46S offers improved mechanical strength and adaptability for sealing operations in nuclear water, air and steam systems exposed to temperature variations and moisture.

Its reinforced particle structure gives the compound a more robust texture, allowing it to bridge small gaps, fill irregular geometries, and maintain sealing integrity even when the contact surfaces are not perfectly aligned. This makes NUC46S particularly effective for interventions on aged or corroded components where precision and resilience are essential.

Fully compliant with PMUC (Produits et Matériaux Utilisables en Centrale nucléaire) standards, NUC46S is formulated to ensure controlled halogen and sulfur levels, protecting stainless steel and alloy components from corrosion. Each batch is tested and certified, guaranteeing consistent quality, full traceability, and conformity with nuclear requirements.

Combining the thermal resistance and water impermeability of NUC46 with added structural body and mechanical compensation, NUC46S ensures reliable and durable sealing performance under the most demanding nuclear operating conditions.
